Things to do

In winter, the slopes reign supreme: sledging, alpine or cross-country skiing, snowboarding on the most beautiful slopes in the Alps and the Jura. In all seasons you can wander up and down the streets of Lausanne - the altitude changes by almost 600m! In the summer months you can go sailing or rowing on the lake; follow the many walking and hiking trails, or stroll along the banks of Lake of Geneva.
A Fitness center is 10 minutes away from the school: www.fitnessparc-malley.ch .
At night, people stream towards the trendy cafes and the discotheques.

Eurocentres Activities include:
"Discovery of the city"; "cinema afternoons"; barbecues, fondues or crêpes parties; pedal-boating on the lake; trips to museums and games in the afternoons.

Excursions include:
Geneva; Montreux and the Castle of Chillon; the cheese dairies of Gruyères; Evian: its water springs and its casino; taking the cablecar up to the highest peaks of the Alps; cruises across Lake Geneva and visits to the region's many festivals: jazz, dance, classical music and folklore.

Every Tuesday from 14.00 to 15.00, Eurocentres Lausanne has a free Speaking Club for students. You can practice your French and meet students from other classes. Come and join us!
